The Cassettes are a Manchester-based wedding and party band performing across Cheshire, Lancashire, Liverpool, Yorkshire and throughout the UK.
Since forming in 2016, we've built our reputation on energetic live performances, packed dancefloors and knowing exactly how to bring a room together. From indie and rock anthems to pop, soul and dancefloor favourites, we play the songs people love, with the musicianship and personality to make every performance feel special.
Our musicians have performed and toured with internationally recognised artists, including Bruno Mars and Calum Scott, bringing that professional experience to weddings, corporate events and private celebrations.

WHAT PEOPLE WHO BOOK THE CASSETTES SAY
BOOK THIS BAND!!! The Cassettes were amazing!! Our wedding was last Saturday and I am still having people asking ‘who were the band?’ and where we booked them as they were so impressed! They were fantastic start to finish! We booked them for two 45 minute sets and I’m pretty sure they gave us more on the day! They got the dance floor going early on and it never emptied until the night was over! They built the music up and up using their wide repertoire ready for the big popular sing-along towards the end, they had everyone of all ages on their feet start to finish! The sax was a great addition and gave the evening that something extra special! The lads were accommodating and brilliant to deal with, I couldn’t recommend them highly enough! The videos they have on their page don’t even do them justice if I’m honest! I hope we are at another event where The Cassettes are performing soon!! Thanks again!

I cannot speak highly enough of this fantastic band!! We hired them to perform at our wedding reception and they were amazing! We struggled to find a suitable band initially because my husband and I have polar opposite tastes in music so we needed a band who could do a huge range of styles and on top of that we had chosen a Prince song as our first dance…a very tall order indeed! But the guys absolutely nailed it! The dancefloor was full all night and all of our guests have been raving to us about how fantastic the band were. Bjorn also performed an acoustic set whilst guests were arriving at the venue which set the laid back tone of the day perfectly! I would 100% recommend The Cassettes to anyone looking to hire a band for a wedding or event, not only are they super talented and guaranteed to get the party started but they are the nicest people too!

If you are looking for a band that makes your event memorable to you and your attending guests, then I can’t recommend these guys more highly. My wife and I wanted to have a band at our wedding last summer that ensured a full dance floor all evening and these guys certainly delivered on that. From dealing with special requests, to giving flexibility over which songs they played (unlike other bands who we spoke to, who insisted they would dictate everything), to taking audience requests on the evening, they helped ensure our wedding was the perfect day. And I can highly recommend insisting on the 'Sit Down/500 Hundred' mash up being played - we will never forget all of our wedding guests being sat on the floor multiple times during the song!
